Attendees of our networking sessions acknowledged that there is a the gap in services, regarding Lancashire based accessible support for adult victim/survivors. Our peer team had positive interactions with professionals interested in making steps towards multi agency collaborative working practices.
On the whole both survivor/peer team members as well as service providers informed us that information was delivered in a relaxed yet professional manner.
The unique element of open and honest dialogue between our peer team members who have Lived Experiences of CSA was powerful and effective. Peer members reported feeling empowered, having opportunity to be open about their experiences validated often for the first time.
