Childhood Sexual Abuse the Silent Crime

If we, as individuals as well as s community, can begin to acknowledge this crime rather than turn a Blind Eye and a Deaf Ear ‘not my problem, nothing to do with me, I don’t want to interfere, I don’t want to get involved, it’s not happening that much’ are all statements which are no longer valid.

The power of these opinions and messages serve to protect and shield perpetrators, isolate and stigmatize victims.
